PACOIMA : 2 Hurt as Gunman Sprays Bullets Into McDonald’s
A gunman opened fire Wednesday in a crowded McDonald’s in Pacoima, wounding a 23-yard-old Sun Valley man and a 9-year-old female bystander in what Los Angeles police said may have been a gang-related attack.
The man, identified as Jerry Long, was apparently the intended target at the restaurant in the 13700 block of Van Nuys Boulevard and was shot six times, police said. Erika Flores was wounded in the foot by a stray bullet, authorities said. Long was in serious condition after surgery at an area hospital. The girl was in fair condition after foot surgery.
