Under the state Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act, Ventura County must report each week the toxic and potentially toxic materials discharged. The discharges are investigated by the county Environmental Health Division. DATE: April 19 LOCATION: 50 South C St., Fillmore MATERIAL: Unknown amount of chlorine DATE: April 19 LOCATION: School Canyon Road at Ventura Avenue, Ventura MATERIAL: 4 barrels of crude oil DATE: April 20 LOCATION: 1701 W. 5th St., Oxnard MATERIAL: 10 gallons of jet fuel DATE: April 23 LOCATION: 8785 Boise St., Ventura MATERIAL: 3,000 gallons of raw sewage DATE: April 23 LOCATION: Ventura Freeway at the Conejo Grade, Camarillo MATERIAL: 30 gallons of diesel fuel DATE: April 26 LOCATION: Encino Vista Drive at El Segundo Drive, Thousand Oaks MATERIAL: 55 gallons of motor oil
