SLAYING SHOCK: For many Latinos in Ventura County, the slaying of a Roman Catholic cardinal in Guadalajara (A4) was a bitter loss. “Our people have been very deeply shocked,” said Father Richard Loomis of St. Anthony’s Church in Oxnard. . . .
