From Staff and Wire Reports

Two-sport star Deion Sanders signed an $11-million, three-year contract Tuesday to play baseball full time for the Atlanta Braves.

The Braves renewed his contract for $1 million in March, but that deal required him to remain with the team only through July 31. The new contract replaces that deal and runs through the 1995 season.

Sanders, a Pro Bowl cornerback, has one year left on his football contract with the Atlanta Falcons, and he plans to join the Falcons when the baseball season ends.
