ABC to Air Live Telecast of U.S. Soccer Match

In what ABC says is a first, the U.S. National Soccer Team will compete live on network television June 13. The network will televise the U.S. match against Germany, to be played at Soldier Field in Chicago.

The telecast is part of ABC’s coverage of U.S. Cup ‘93, leading up to the World Cup competition in 1994, which will be hosted by the United States--another first.
