Jan Wiley, 77, actress in the 1940s best known for two cult horror films, “The She-Wolf of London” and “The Brute Man.” The former model began her acting career for RKO using the name Harriet Brandon and appeared in such films as “Stage Door” and “Kitty Foyle.” As Jan Wiley, she played leading roles in B movies and smaller roles in major films, including one as a reporter in the Orson Welles classic “Citizen Kane.” She also starred in three motion picture serials, “Dick Tracy vs. Crime Inc.,” “The Master Key,” and opposite Lloyd Bridges in “Secret Agent X-9.” On Thursday in Rancho Palos Verdes after a stroke.

Jan Wiley Greene death--The Times last Friday incorrectly stated the cause of death of Jan Wiley Greene, an actress known professionally as Jan Wiley. Mrs. Greene, 77, died May 27 in Rancho Palos Verdes of cancer, according to her daughter, Melissa Greene Newton.
