Set your VCRs for the repeat of the Emmy-winning British series The Jewel in the Crown (Sundays at 4 p.m. and Saturdays at 4 a.m. on A&E;), based on Paul Scott’s “The Raj Quartet,” about the tumultuous final years of British rule in India. Charles Dance, Peggy Ashcroft, Tim Piggott-Smith and Art Malick star. “Jewel in the Crown” originally aired on PBS’ “Masterpiece Theatre” in 1984-85.

TBS kicks off “Perry Mason Sunday” with the 1985 TV movie Perry Mason Returns (Sunday at 4 p.m.), which finds Mason (Raymond Burr) as an appellate court judge who must resign his post to defend his former secretary, Della Street (Barbara Hale), against a murder charge.

Harry Belafonte’s performance on The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour (Tuesday at 5 and 8 p.m. on E!) was originally censored by CBS.

John Ritter plays the minister who marries Ted and Georgette on The Mary Tyler Moore Show (Tuesday at 10:30 p.m. on Nickelodeon).

Janet Leigh, Bobbie Gentry and Peter Seeger are guests on one of the best installments of The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour (Wednesday at 5 and 8 p.m. on E!)

Baseball’s Jimmy Piersall and offspring Lucie and Desi Arnaz Jr. are guests on The Lucy Show (Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. on Nickelodeon) in an episode set at Marineland.

Dennis Dugan plays the novice detective Richie Brockelman who teams up with Rockford to solve a case on The Rockford Files (Friday at 3 p.m on A&E;). Dugan was later given his own short-lived series “Richie Brockelman, Private Eye” in 1978.

Nyuk! Nyuk! Nyuk! In honor of Moe’s birthday, TBS is airing the Three Stooges Greatest Hits (Friday at 9:15 p.m.), 18 classic Stooges shorts including “Hoi Polloi,” “Goofs and Saddles,” “An Ache in Every Stake” and “You Nazty Spy.”
