King Fans Come to Gretzky’s Defense

Hockey School 101:

1--Wayne Gretzky joining the Kings is the main reason the franchise is still in Los Angeles.

2--Gretzky was the leading scorer in the playoffs.

3--Anyone who followed the entire season knows that Gretzky’s eruption has more to do with management than money.

How can anyone say Wayne Gretzky is greedy, selfish and a poor sport? In my 65 years, I’ve had only two heroes, Wayne Gretzky and Richard Petty, because both are the best and both are the kind of men you would want your son or grandson to take after.
