Guide to a Colorful Weekend

Fireworks shows will be held throughout this weekend in Los Angeles County. For more information, call the county Fire D e partment at (800) 900 FIRE between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. until July 4. Cities with asterisks outlaw personal fireworks displays, including sparklers. The penalty for using fireworks in these areas is from $500 to $1,000 and/or six months in jail. LOS ANGELES*
