JMC Group Inc., formerly Spear Financial Services in Glendale until its name change this month, said it appointed William L. Webster as vice president. He replaces Wells DeLoach, 69, who is retiring.

Webster, 45, previously spent 14 years at the Holden Group, a financial services firm in Los Angeles. At JMC Group, a marketer of annuities and other insurance products, Webster will be responsible for companywide operations.
