THOUSAND OAKS : Merchants Sought for 1993 Home Show
Merchants are still needed for the Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce’s 1993 Home & Garden Show scheduled for later this month.
The show, to be held at Janss Mall July 24 and 25, will display ways to renovate, decorate or enhance homes or apartments. The city of Thousand Oaks ran the show last year, but this year turned it over to the chamber.
The chamber has signed up 30 businesses, and hopes for 75.
In addition to decorator wares, there will be pony rides for children and a walking, talking robot named Z-Bop. Blue-grass bands Liberty and Blue Plate Special will entertain, and the Pi-R Square Dance Club will demonstrate traditional and modern square dances.
The Conejo Valley Cloggers will also perform.
