Highway Warning

Let me warn the American public how poorly cared for the Alaskan Highway is in the Canadian Yukon. I have just returned from an unhappy experience driving the highway. All the maps show a major highway. Well, mud with no road foundation, equipment working while you are in your car driving, no one to put your car and others on a service road while the work is being done, to my mind are not hallmarks of a major highway. Once the Alaskan border is reached, the road is much better. Let’s tell Canada to clean up its act so we can enjoy traveling through both countries.
