Hyman Opens Irvine Office: To better serve its West Coast clients, national general contractor George Hyman Construction Co. has established a regional office in Irvine.

Though the Maryland company has no projects in Orange County, it selected Irvine because of its “central location and proximity to the airport,” said Richard Heim, a senior vice president who heads the new office. Projects include the Los Angeles Convention Center, a water treatment plant in Granada Hills and the Denver Central Library.
