At least one active NFL player has told the league of the intricate ways players cheat during drug tests to avoid steroid detection, the New York Times reported.

The information reportedly came from people familiar with the investigation into the four-game suspension of the New York Giants’ Eric Moore, who pleaded guilty in June to a misdemeanor charge of steroid possession. The NFL was told the tests do not deter steroid use.
