COMPTON : Man Pleads Not Guilty in Killing of 10-Year-Old
A man charged in the gang-related shooting death of a 10-year-old Lynwood girl pleaded not guilty to murder charges Tuesday in Compton Municipal Court.
Frank Miller, 21, of Compton is charged with murder and the special allegation of personal use of a firearm. The charges carry a maximum term of life in prison.
Miller is accused of shooting Grisel Arguello, who died July 24 of a gunshot wound to the head. The youngster was walking to the store with her mother when she was hit by shots apparently intended for gang members standing in front of a home on Orchard Avenue.
