Events Error
“Events in August” (July 18) contains an error and an omission. In Maharashtra, my home state, as part of the celebration of Lord Krishna’s birthday, the pots are not hung between human pyramids. The pots are strung 20 to 30 feet high between buildings. Human pyramids are then formed to reach and break the pots which contain curds, clarified butter and money.
