El Monte : Teacher of the Year Named
Donna McEntire has been named Mountain View School District Teacher of the Year for the 1993-94 school year. McEntire’s colleagues selected her for her skill and dedication as a teacher.
During her 20 years with the district, she has taught kindergarten to eighth grade at Payne, Twin Lakes, Kranz and Madrid schools. For this school year, she will take on a new assignment as interim principal at Monte Vista Elementary School.
McEntire received her bachelor of arts degree in music education from Cal State Fullerton and her master’s degree in education from Pepperdine University.
McEntire will compete for the state Teacher of the Year award.
