Gunshot Victim’s Body Found on River Trail
Police on Sunday were seeking clues to the slaying of an unidentified man whose body was found on the Santa Ana River Trail near Riverdale Avenue. The man was about 30 to 40 years old, police said.
Sgt. Thomas Lahmon said the body was found by a passerby about 10:40 p.m. Saturday.
The man, of Latino origin, had been shot to death, Lahmon said. He said that details of the slaying, including specifics about the gunshot wound, were not immediately being released.
“We don’t have an identity of the victim, and we don’t have any suspect or motive,” Lahmon said.
