OUTLOOK
Gone is quarterback Tim Carey (Stanford), who threw for 3,397 yards and 35 touchdowns, and just about everyone else from the county’s most potent offense. Good gets the first crack at replacing Carey and will need time to develop. Fortunately, the Griffin defense, which had five shutouts last season, can provide the time.
