Kelly Ruggirello, 30, has been appointed to the new post of director of education and outreach for the Pacific Symphony. A former a teacher in the Downey Unified School District where she won a Teacher of the Year award in 1991, she will plan and supervise expanded outreach efforts by the orchestra in Orange County schools and colleges, duties she already has assumed. Other recent appointments include Diane Moore, director of finance; Sandra Fenton, assistant director of operations; Rebecca Menes, assistant director of marketing and public relations, and Carol Miller, executive assistant to the executive director of the orchestra, Louis Spisto.
