Share

East Ventura County businesses can learn about recycled products and services available to them at a symposium Friday in Thousand Oaks.

The session, titled “Road to Recovery Business Symposium,” is being funded by a grant from the California Department of Conservation and co-sponsored by the city of Thousand Oaks, the city of Moorpark, the Conejo Valley and Moorpark Chambers of Commerce and Citizen Planners, a group that encourages environmentally based city and county planning.

“We’re trying to get people interested in buying recycled products for their businesses and in developing some of their own,” said Jill Rubin, recycling coordinator for the city of Moorpark.
