AROUND THE NFL : Foster, Steelers Agree to Terms

Barry Foster, the AFC’s leading rusher last season for the Pittsburgh Steelers, agreed to a contract extension that makes him the NFL’s second-highest paid running back.
Foster’s multiyear deal includes a signing bonus worth at least $1 million and an annual salary of about $2.5 million beginning in 1994. Foster is currently making $460,000 in the second year of a two-year contract he signed 14 months ago.
