6 Die in Coal Mine During Earthquake

WARSAW —
A small earthquake Friday collapsed a coal mine shaft in southern Poland, killing six miners and injuring two.
The early morning accident occurred in a shaft 2,160 feet below the surface, said Miechowice mine director Edward Markowski.
