COLLEGE FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : USC : Ticket Sales Not Down, Not Up, Either

Over the last five years, season ticket sales for USC football games have slipped from 35,000 to 31,500, according to Athletic Director Mike Garrett.

And although the decline stopped when John Robinson was hired as coach last January, there has been no noticeable resurgence in season sales.

USC has beaten Washington State, its Saturday night opponent in the Coliseum, in 21 of the last 22 games. The Cougars have not beaten USC in the Coliseum since 1957.
