St. John Bosco Buries Sonora

Ryan Williams rushed for 194 yards in 19 carries and scored twice, and teammate Lamar Hillman ran for 100 yards in 12 carries and had three touchdowns as St. John Bosco beat Sonora, 49-13, Thursday night at St. John Bosco High.

Hillman scored the Braves’ first two touchdowns on a 31-yard pass from Bob Fierro and a 24-yard run. He later scored on a two-yard run.

Williams scored on runs of one and four yards, and his twin brother, Richard, kicked five extra points.

Sonora’s scoring came on quarterback Adam Chez’s six-yard run and Kevin Rodriguez’s 55-yard pass to Mike Gonzalez.

Noel Ishikawa led the Raiders with 64 yards rushing in six carries.

St. John Bosco (2-1) rushed for 379 yards and had 437 yards total offense to 204 for Sonora (1-2).
