Wales Heavyweight Scores Twin Kayoes in Mugging Attempt

The plague of crime against foreign tourists in Florida took a twist when two would-be robbers encountered an amateur heavyweight boxer called “Chubby” by his mates back in Wales.

Andrew Griffiths, a professional bodyguard visiting from Quak, South Wales, told police he knocked one man unconscious and the other one groggy before driving away from the robbery attempt in front of an Orlando store Thursday.

“I’m certain one of them will require serious medical attention,” said Griffiths, 28.
