GLENDALE : Police Find Man, 41, Dead in His Duplex
A man in his early 40s was found dead in his unlocked Glendale duplex late Tuesday night. Police said he’d been dead for two days.
The victim, Avery Carlton Howard, 41, had suffered traumatic injuries, said Glendale Police Sgt. Lief Nicolaisen.
Nicolaisen would not describe the injuries.
“There is some indication that the victim admitted the suspect into his residence,” Nicolaisen said.
Glendale police received a call late Tuesday night from a friend of the victim who asked them to see whether he was all right. Officers responded to the call and discovered the body.
The death is not believed to be gang- or drug-related, police said. There are no suspects.
