Odor Leads Police to Decomposing Body

BUENA PARK — Police found the badly decomposed body of a man on a couch Thursday after neighbors called to report a foul odor from an apartment in the 7800 block of El Coco Way.
The man appeared to have been dead for several days, Lt. Patrick M. Black said. An autopsy scheduled for today should determine the cause of death.
Black said that two residents were listed for the apartment, but no one else was there when police arrived.
