Litton Unit Agrees to Buy Geophysical Line: Halliburton Co. said it has tentatively agreed to sell its geophysical services and products group to Western Atlas International Inc., an energy services subsidiary of Beverly Hills-based defense contractor Litton Industries Inc. The price has not yet been determined. Halliburton, a Dallas-based provider of oil field and engineering services, said the geophysical group--which provides land and marine seismic data services and equipment--had revenue of $470 million last year, or about 7% of Halliburton’s total of $6.6 billion.
