10-Foot Python Stars in Reptile Exhibit

A 10-foot python, poisonous frogs and all manner of snakes, lizards and tortoises will be on hand at the 12th annual Live Reptile and Amphibian Exhibit at the Lakeview Terrace Recreational Center on Saturday and Sunday. Visitors can have their picture taken with the python, handle snakes and lizards, and learn about the habits of reptiles and amphibians.

The exhibit, presented by the Southwestern Herpetologists Society, will include workshops and activities for families and educational and conservation displays. Experts will be on hand to answer questions.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Call (818) 367-0864.
