Lung Assn. to Honor Supervisor Lacey
Supervisor Susan K. Lacey will receive an award for her longtime support of the American Lung Assn.’s Ventura County chapter at its annual installation dinner Thursday.
Lacey is also among several speakers scheduled to make presentations at the banquet, which will begin with a cocktail reception at 6:30 p.m. at the Tower Club in Oxnard. The dinner and program will start at 7:30 p.m.
The new officers to be installed are Barry Hall, chief executive officer of California Amplifier in Camarillo; Gregg Hutchins, certified public accountant at Holthouse Carlin & Van Trigt in Westlake Village; Dr. David Mescher of Walters, Mescher and Yu Pulmonary Medical Group in Oxnard and Ventura, and Steve Miller, president of Miller Communications in Oxnard.
The Lung Assn. offers assistance for people with lung disorders and educational programs on how to keep lungs healthy.
