Fischoff Joins Sandollar as Co-President

Richard C. Fischoff has been named co-president of Sandollar Productions, the company owned by talent manager Sandy Gallin and entertainer Dolly Parton.

Fischoff will begin work Monday. He is currently an executive vice president at Coment Odyssey. Fischoff has also worked as a senior vice president at Tristar Pictures. Sandollar is based on the Columbia Pictures lot.

Jere Hausfater has been promoted to senior vice president of acquisitions and business affairs for Buena Vista worldwide theatrical distribution and home video.

Hausfater, who helped establish the studio’s relationship with Miramax Film Corp. and Jim Henson Video, will continue to work on evaluating films that may be acquired for distribution.

Stewart Kleiner has been named vice president of legal and business affairs at Live Home Video.

Viacom Productions has named Laurie M. Parker director of creative affairs.

James Warren has been appointed vice president of administration and chief financial officer at BRC Imagination Arts.

Jeanne McCafferty has been hired as vice president of administration for edel America Records, the new subsidiary of the German label.

Former Elektra A&R; chief Howard Thompson has agreed to join A&M; Records co-founders Herb Alpert and Jerry Moss in their new venture, Rondor Records, beginning next year.
