COUNTYWIDE : Math, Science College Grants Are Offered

Share

Students who enter college in the fall of 1994 and plan to major in science, math or engineering are eligible for federal grants of about $2,600 through the National Science Scholars Program.

Two students in each of California’s 52 congressional districts will receive scholarships, which will be paid directly to the students’ school of choice and continue for up to five years or until the student earns an undergraduate degree.

Students with a high level of achievement in math or science are eligible, though students pursuing health or medical careers do not qualify.
