The CBS telecast of the clinching Game 6 of the World Series on Saturday night drew an A.C. Nielsen overnight rating in 29 metered markets of 20.0 with a 34 share. That’s down 11% from last year’s overnight rating of 22.6 and 40 for Game 6, which also was a clincher.

Toronto was the winner in both, winning at Atlanta last year and winning at home against Philadelphia this year.

Full national ratings for Game 6 will not be available until Tuesday. A ratings point represents 1% of all television households in America, or about 942,000 homes. The share represents the percentage of televisions in use.
