Christians and Hollywood

* In response to “Hollywood Toys With Its Last Bias: Christians,” by Bob Jones IV, Commentary, Oct. 14:

So, let me get this straight. Bob Jones IV is upset because “L.A. Law” chose to portray the Jane Halliday character, a born-again Christian from Bob Jones University, as an attractive, intelligent woman who’s remained a virgin by choice. A self-assured believer who, in spite of overt hostility, easily navigates the rarefied air of the professional legal world portrayed on the show.

He’s upset because there’s nothing for him to be upset about! It doesn’t sound like Jane Halliday went to the same Bob Jones University where Bob Jones IV is an instructor, or at least she never took his class.
