Alliance Imaging Inc.: The Orange provider of magnetic resonance imaging services reported a loss of $12.7 million, or $1.79 a share, for the third quarter. That included restructuring charges of $12.7 million related to a write-down of older equipment. For the same period a year earlier, the company had a profit of $386,000, or 5 cents a share. Three-month revenue declined 7% to $15.8 million from $16.9 million. For the year to date, the company posted a loss of $13.5 million, or $1.89 a share, contrasted with a profit of $1.7 million, or 25 cents a share, a year earlier. Nine-month revenue dropped 3% to $46.3 million from $47.6 million.
