EXPRESS LEAGUE : Claremont Holds Off Heritage Christian

Running back Bram Slipakoff rushed for 190 yards and four touchdowns Friday as Huntington Beach Claremont defeated Heritage Christian, 48-44, in an eight-man Express League game at Claremont.

Slipakoff carried the ball 34 times.

Heritage Christian rallied in the fourth quarter, scoring 18 points on three consecutive touchdowns, but failed to convert on each try for two points.

Eric Carrion was one of the top performers for Heritage Christian, catching four passes for 60 yards and scoring two touchdowns.

Claremont improved to 2-4-1 and 1-1. Heritage is 1-2 in league.
