Sara Head has been appointed to the Ventura County Air Pollution Control District Advisory Committee. Head is manager of air quality permitting, compliance and measurements at ENSR Consulting & Engineering in Camarillo.
She is one of about 40 people certified in the United States as a qualified environmental professional by the Institute of Professional Environmental Practice.
Camarillo-based BioSource International announced several staff promotions.
Madelyn Baran was named vice president of product development and Richard Hubble was named vice president of research. Carlos Luna, formerly of Chiron Corp., was named director of operations.
Anna Thorp Anderson was named chief accounting officer and Joe Davis was named director of technical services. In addition, Leonard M. Hendrickson, president of Isotope Products Laboratories, has been appointed to the BioSource board of directors.
BioSource supplies immunological reagents and test kits used in biomedical research.
