PORT HUENEME : Man Sentenced to 15 Years for Robberies
A Port Hueneme man on Monday was sentenced to 15 years in a federal prison after pleading guilty to robbing three banks in Ventura County, the FBI announced.
Alton Anthony Robertson, 30, pleaded guilty to a series of bank robberies that occurred between January and April of this year, said Charlie Parsons, special agent in charge of the FBI’s Los Angeles bureau.
As part of a plea bargain, additional charges for firearms and conspiracy were dropped by the prosecution, the report said.
Robertson was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Manuel L. Real.
