FULLERTON : Free Health Fair for Seniors Planned
A free health fair for senior citizens on Friday will offer tests and counseling for many ailments. The fair will offer free flu immunizations--though people who are allergic to eggs or have a fever should not get the shots.
A $15 blood chemistry test will analyze 20 blood levels and cholesterol. People who want to take the test should fast for 12 hours beforehand.
Seniors will be able to get vision, cataract, blood pressure and blood glucose tests. There will also be counseling for lung disorders, arthritis, diabetes and foot disorders.
The health fair will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Senior Multi-Service Center, 340 W. Commonwealth Ave.
