FAIRING BETTER: Weekend general admission for the Orange County Fair will be $6 next year--up a buck--but officials say the money will be put to good use. It will go toward booking better entertainment for the 17-day fair run. Also, the fair board wants to put acts into the Pacific Amphitheatre, instead of the 5,000-seat outdoor Arlington Theater. The Amphitheatre can seat nearly 19,000.
