HUNTINGTON BEACH : Golden West College to Hold Transfer Day

Representatives from 40 four-year colleges and universities will be at Golden West College on Monday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to assist students planning to transfer.
The event, called University Transfer Day, will be held at the Golden West quad and is free and open to the public.
“Representatives will be available to discuss financial aid, scholarship programs, housing, admissions procedures and other topics,” said Lori Thomas, a spokeswoman at the college. “The Air Force, Army and Navy will also be represented.”
University Transfer Day is “designed to quickly and conveniently provide Golden West College students and community members with answers about continuing their education,” she said.
