BANGKOK, Thailand —
Relatives of an 8-year-old boy killed by a truck beat up the driver when he attended the child’s funeral to offer an apology, Thai newspapers reported Friday.
It took police 10 minutes to drive back the angry crowd at Thursday’s funeral at a Buddhist temple in Pathum Thani, north of Bangkok, one newspaper reported.
The 33-year-old truck driver was bundled into a police car and returned to the jail.
