The reproductive lives of plants and animals are explored in an exhibit at the California Museum of Science and Industry. “Two of Every Sort” runs through Jan. 2.

Parts of the exhibit will focus on what it means to be male and female in various species of flora and fauna, courtship, mating and parenting.

The exhibit’s last section explores human reproduction and prospects for conception made possible by advances in medicine and biotechnology. Call (213) 744-7400.
