Chiat/Day Wins Cherry Coke Account: The Venice-based company was named worldwide agency for the Cherry Coke ad business, formerly handled by the New York agency McCann-Erickson Worldwide. Bob Wolf, chairman of Chiat/Day’s North American operations, said the agency plans to reposition Cherry Coke as “an alternative drink for young people.” Chiat/Day will not add staff for the new business, he said.
