The Need to Encourage Library Funding
West Hollywood residents, it is time for each of you to rise up and take a stand to protect one of the most important assets of our community--our own library.
Sure, libraries all over the state are having difficulty due to insufficient funding. The difference here is that West Hollywood residents can do something about it with very little effort or cost on their part.
Tell your City Council to stop funding parties, parades and festivals and to use that money to keep our library open every day--not just the 14 hours a week it is open now.
