Bus service--A story in Saturday’s Focus pages incorrectly stated when a new transit service in the Las Virgenes area was scheduled to start. The buses are scheduled to begin running on routes connecting Thousand Oaks, Agoura Hills and Westlake Village in July, 1994.

The bus routes will serve the Moorpark Metrolink station, Moorpark College, Madera Road/Los Angeles Avenue and Wood Ranch Parkway/Madera Road in Simi Valley, The Oaks mall and Thousand Oaks Boulevard, and businesses along Agoura Road and Thousand Oaks Boulevard. The end of the route will be at Kanan Road/Agoura Hills Boulevard in Agoura Hills.

A proposed stop in Westlake Village at Lindero Canyon Road and Thousand Oaks Boulevard is being reviewed. Westlake Village City Manager Ray Taylor said council members want more stops in town, in more centrally located areas south of the Ventura Freeway.

The service will run between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. weekdays. The one-way fare will be $1, and 50 cents for seniors.
