Rodeo Will Focus on Bicycle Safety
Ventura County sheriff’s deputies and the Rotary Club of Moorpark will join forces to offer a free bicycle safety rodeo for adults and children Saturday at Peach Hill Elementary School, 13400 Christian Barrett Drive.
Rotary members will be on hand to engrave identifications on bicycles to discourage theft and help recover lost or stolen bikes. At the same time, children can test their riding skills and awareness of traffic rules on the rodeo course.
A bicycle safety expert from the Automobile Club of Southern California will check bicycles for obvious defects and safety problems.
No reservations are required for the event, which will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
