* Floyd L. Farano has been appointed by Gov. Pete Wilson to the California-Nevada Super Speed Ground Transportation Commission. The commission was formed in 1988 to pursue the development of a privately built and operated super-speed train system. Farano is a founding partner of the law firm of Farano & Kieviet in Anaheim.
