FlyAway Terminal Braces for Holidays
‘Tis the season to be dumped, say officials at the Van Nuys FlyAway Bus Terminal.
Anticipating overflowing parking lots, holiday travelers are encouraged to be dropped off, rather than park at the FlyAway terminal, said Ronald J. Kochevar, Van Nuys Airport manager.
The FlyAway bus service makes 98 scheduled trips to and from Los Angeles International Airport daily. Travelers can leave their vehicles in the parking lot for up to 15 days.
There are more than 2,000 parking spots at the FlyAway lot at 7610 Woodley Ave. Parking is $1 a day. Round-trip fares to LAX on the FlyAway bus are $6 for adults and $3.50 for children.
